Donovan Louis Bazemore

Born in Chester County, PA Donovan is a phenomenal young performer who developed an interest in music and theatre at a very early age.  He has been training in acting, musical theatre, dance and piano since the age of 6 and at age 8, Donovan booked his first professional job playing Coalhouse Walker, III in Ragtime the Musical at the Arden Repertory Company.  At age 9, Donovan went on to play lead roles in The Caucasian Chalk Circle (Swarthmore College), Rachel (The Quintessance Theatre Group) and The Snowy Day (Arden Repertory Company) .  While Donovan is passionate about theatre, he has also worked in television, playing the precocious, smart-mouthed Wyatt alongside comedy legend Tracy Morgan in The Last OG on TBS and Frankie Langer on FBI: Most Wanted.

Donovan is currently starrring inThe Lion King on Broadway as Young Simba, working on the animated feature film Sneaks featuring Martin Lawrence, Laurence Fishburne and Chloe Bailey, and can be seen in his recurring role as Cooper in Michelle Buteau's Survival of the Thickest on Netflix.

Donovan's goals are to continue performing in theatre, television and film and to become one of the youngest tv and film producers in Hollywood. He is also an aspiring young author currently writing a children's book chronicling his journey to Broadway. He hopes that this book will inspire other young kids who dream of becoming performers.
